Tracy Lévesque
Lowell, MA
Tracy is self-taught painter, printmaker and illustrator. She holds degrees in Theater Arts and English and American Literature from Brandeis University.
Reminiscent of stained glass, Tracy's meticulous use of color and line detail in her paintings create an optical illusion giving her work the fantastic visual effect of appearing three dimensional.
My acrylic paintings are love songs to Nature and painstaking masterpieces of intricacy that blur the boundaries between fine art and illustration. Created using my unique combination technique of palette knife sculpting combined with intricate brushwork and detail, each piece is constructed of many layers of color, texture and detail.
